Healing with Sound Sound healing, alternatively known as Sound Therapy or Vibrational Medicine, is the practice of using sound and frequency for relaxation, healing and personal development. It’s currently enjoying a large following and much curiosity. Articles in national newspapers, magazines, and events across social media have raised the profile of gongs, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls and tuning forks as sound healing instruments, with enthusiasts signing up in increasing numbers to lay down with a comfy blanket and cushion and enjoy an hour of relaxation. With the capacity to slow down your respiratory rate, It can relax your brainwaves patterns, lower your heart rate variability and calm your nervous system, sound healing is at the cutting edge of healing along with meditation and yoga. The meaning of Life By Prof. Sarvesh Mishra , SICA College, Indore

The meaning of Life The meaning of life is that it is completely devoted towards the great goal. Every moment of life should be lived in such a way that tomorrow, when we look back on that moment, we should not be ashamed, life is a long series of problems.  It gives birth to anxiety and guilt, it challenges our courage and infuses courage in us to face them, it hurts and teaches us something, so do not run away from problems, welcome them. Since the problems are endless, therefore the story of progress is the name of a continuous process, life is like a constant flow like the river, which collides with the rocky shores to complete the journey to the ocean (goal), life is not a name to stay.  The law of nature is to either go ahead or be ready to perish. Don't run away from life, stay awake in life. The goal is achieved, Karma Shakti is dispersed as soon as the focus is on the fruit. By focusing the inner 'Karmshakti Punj' on the target, like Arjuna, one has to focus on...

"Truth vs. Fact" by Prof. Vagmita Dubey, Department of Commerce, SICA College, Indore

Truth vs. Fact I f we search the dictionary, it says that the truth is same as fact. Although, the Truth may not be a fact. And a fact may not necessarily be the truth. A fact is something that we know to be true. Some incident we witnessed or someone informed about something. But, a fact may not always be the truth. But our own experiences are always our truth. On my recent stay at a resort on the bank of river Narmada and amidst the Narmada hills in the outskirts of Indore, I experienced something splendid. At midnight, while sitting by the river gazing at a tall tree, the leaves of which were swaying with the flow of the wind, I realised how every other life than the human life is fully exposed to the possibilities and the risk of survival at the same time. Human life is illusory. We live in our illusions, our world is so secure, we have been confined to our comfort zones. I realised that every other creature is so different than us. They are fully exposed to life and to all the ris...

Positive Attitude Winston Churchill said “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” By Prof Pratibha Saraswat, SICA College, Indore

Positive Attitude   Winston Churchill said “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” Positive attitude is a very important  thing that we all must have. It  is just not about smiling or  joking around.  T hat   is only the surface. The real positive attitude is a way of life, a part of our personality. Our approach to life from a positive point of view can reap us many benefits.  We learn throughout the life but our knowledge and experience that we gain in our youth dete rmines the direction of our lives . As a student you should not fear and experiment to find new vistas and fields. Life is a mix of everything good and bad. So you should be prepared for both the aspects . Failure is something that everyone encounters at one time or the other in his/ her life. We cannot stop moving in life because of the fear of failure. The true approach would be to learn from the failures and be wise after learning from it. Thomas Edison once s...
